Sheep Skin Lining
20mm pile thickness

Sheep skin is a great interface material to reduce pressure spots and chaffing from the brace shell to maintain the skin integrity of your doggo's limb. Especially recommended for thin or delicate skin, and for long term use.

Sheep skin will pack out to the shape of the limbs contours and regain it's loft when laundered.

Ideal for use in conditions with less moisture.

Contour Foam
Self-Adhesive (9.5mm)

An alternative lining to the sheep skin lining to minimise pressure spots on the limb. For use within the neoprene tarsal and carpal support brace range.

Open-cell, slow recovery padding with a memory. Body heat helps mould foam. Durable but Soft, with an adhesive backing for easy application.

This material is a better alternative to sheep skin if the brace will be subject to excessive moisture.

Additional foam may be purchased if required

Velcro Stabilisers
Grade 2: Supportive / Stabilisation

Velcro stabilisers can be added to the custom neoprene wrap to provide additional support to firm up the brace where improved immobilisation is key.

When the limb condition improves, Velcro stabilisers may be removed to decrease support and increase limb activation.

Dynamic Springs
Grade 2: Activation / Resistance

Dynamic Springs can be added to the medial and lateral aspects of the custom support brace to encourage limb activation through the tarsal joint, and sometimes carpal joints.

They may also provide  medial/lateral stability through the joint.

Reserved for support braces that are longer than 25cm.

Thermoplastic
Grade 3: Rigidity

The addition of thermoplastic to the support brace, be it custom carpal or custom tarsal, provides rigidity to aid in complete immobilisation of the selected joint for rehabilitative purposes.

Indications for use can include post-op partial or complete arthrodesis, Achilles tendon rupture repairs, or even immobilisation to aid in wound repair.
